We were around when Scion introduced their first vehicle. Actually you probably know that Toyota introduced the Scion. The first was the xA and xB. Today we are concentrating on the new xB and the xD. The xB was originally a box on wheels. The new 2008 version has a little more rounded edges and more of a chopped top look. The xD is the neatest little car that we really expect to do well with the younger crowd. Toyota expects the young crowd to find Scion themselves, therefore they won't advertise on television or print. That sounds like a pretty good marketing plan for Toyota.....at least they claim it works for them. It's not too good for television or print like Cruisin' Times because we don't see the advertising dollar and still end up getting the word out to buyers. Toyota does enough for us that we're proud to keep you updated on whatever they do for you. In this article we will include a few details on the two new Scions and we hope you enjoy the pictures that we have included.
When we were doing the walk-around before we took to the streets we were given the impression that they wished that the Toyota logo wasn't on the engine. To me, that should be a symbol of the history of quality that went into the Scion.
